Anxiety is what we feel when we are worried, tense or afraid – particularly about things that are about to happen, or which we think could happen in the future.

PTSD is a condition that can develop following a traumatic and/or terrifying event, such as a sexual or physical assault, the unexpected death of a loved one, or a natural disaster.

People with OCD are plagued by constant thoughts or fears that cause them to perform certain rituals or routines.

Depression is classified as a mood disorder. It may be described as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger that interfere with a person’s everyday activities.

Suicide is the act of taking one’s own life. Suicidal behaviour refers to talking about or taking actions related to ending one’s own life. Suicidal thoughts and behaviours should be considered a psychiatric emergency.

The aim of this website is to help those that are affected, as well as their friends and family. I believe we all have a part to play in understanding this silent killer more so that our generation and the future generations can understand it and help sufferers talk more openly about it.
Mental Health still carries a stigma, and for most it’s a subconscious negative reaction that means most still harbour our true feelings for fear of being labelled. Are people aware how they react to the thought of somebody’s mental health? For many they don’t.
